Finnish November at Museum Siam

Flags of Finland and ThailandMuseum Siam in Bangkok has set up an event showcasing Finnish Christmas traditions. During weekdays you can admire an exhibition of Finnish Christmas cards over the last decades. On Sundays you may join the activities like baking Christmas cookies, making Christmas cards and wrapping presents.

Finnish Puppet theatre Sytkyt performs twice at the museum on Sunday afternoon 14.11. Show is called Snowman and the presents. Presents in the show are objects which have been given to president of Finland Tarja Halonen on her trips abroad. Sytkyt has been performing for 25 years and many times in Asia. Puppeteer Mr Juha Laukkanen is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

Every Sunday in November there is special program for children and other Chrismas fans. You are free to join them at the Museum Siam

7.11. Christmas card workshop and visit by Santa Claus
14.11. 2pm and 4pm: Puppet show by Sytkyt 
14.11. 12.30-13.15 and 14.45-15.30 Santa's visit and wrapping presents workshop
21.11. Christmas cookies workshop and visit by Santa Claus
28.11. Hand puppet worksshop at 11am, 13pm, 15pm and 16pm
Christmas card workshops at 10am and at 12 pm and visits by Santa Claus 11am onwards until 16pm
